Drove through a huge rainstorm, now it's doing things it's never done. The rainstorm was so intense that puddles were forming on the sides of the road 8-9 inches deep. For about an hour, the area received 5 inches of rain. I have never seen anything like it.
I let the truck dry off for a week and it's still giving me the same problems.
1.) The check engine light is on. The code shows that it is the throttle position sensor. Engine idles at 1800 rpm, runs rough, and sputters.
2.) The transmission wont shift into overdrive. I have tried pressing the button on the end of the shifter lever to turn on & off the overdrive, hoping that it would enable it to shift into overdrive, but it will not.
ANY SUGGESTIONS???
Thanks in advance,
Scott
