Thanks to Mpgrimm2's camera harness and instructions from him and SitKneelBend, I finally have the cargo camera enabled on my 2015 2500. I say finally because I actually installed the cargo camera and harness in March of last year when I swapped an 8.4 unit out of a 2018 RAM into the truck so I could upgrade to CarPlay, I just never got into AlfaOBD until this week to enable the camera. It's nice to be able to see where I'm backing into when the tailgate is down.
So now I would love to add a front camera, but from what I've been able to find here through many searches, there's only 2 camera inputs available on the 8.4 units in the 2018 models, is that correct? If so, it seems like my only option would be to put in a manual video switch so that I can use the Cargo Camera input for either the cargo cam or the front cam. Just want to confirm I'm correct before I go down a rabbit hole. I don't have an issue going with a manual video switch, but if there's a more elegant solution I would love to look into it. Thanks!
