Dual Zone Control??

Hey, new to forum and have a question for yall. Every now and then when i start my truck and mess with the climate control image. It will show two temp. slides. But after a switch to radio and back its gone.

Any thoughts?

I have the 5.0 radio, so I don't know. It looks like a dual climate control screen. Usually dual climate controls show a digital temperature read out. Do the up and down arrows increase or decrease fan speed or temperature? Slide one side all the way up and the other one all the way down to see what happens.

Dual climate control is part of one of the packages with our trucks (don't know which one). I thought it was available with the Sport and up trim levels.

Your window sticker should list your packages and options along with your build sheet.

yes its dual climate control. the sync button may be pushed causing the temps to be the same for both sides therefor it only shows the one temp. look to see if sync is lit up and if so touch it and turn it off then try and see if both temps come back.

ok sorry i see you don't have a sync. can you adjust both to different settings?

Yes it looks like a dual climate. However I don't have dual climate, its not on my window sticker as an option. The dials increase the temp. It doesn't show two most of the time but every now and then that screen is up so trying to find out if its a glitch or do I actually have dual climate and it isn't setup properly.

No as I always forget to mess with it and when I switch back it shows one again.

Yea see mine isn't like that with the temp number, just a slider. But does look the same with two sliders. Ugh confusing lol

After I did the most recent update for the radio, I saw that too on my screen. I was like WTF, I have dual controls now ? It went away after a couple of seconds, and have not seen it since.

I think im going to ask dealership if there is something wrong.

I think it's just more of UConnect's special brand of flakiness. I occasionally see weird stuff like that too. Most annoying is when the system just decides to reboot when I'm driving. It's done that 3 or 4 times in the 5 months I've had the truck.
