I have a '17 1500 Hemi. Recently I noticed that whenever I apply brakes I get this dull grinding noise, I can hear it on the front left tire area. So naturally I assumed I needed new brake pads. Yesterday I installed the new ones, took the truck off the jack and had the same issue. So now it has to be a warped rotor? so today I replaced the rotor and I'm still getting the same issue. I'm now at a loss at what's causing the grinding noise when I brake. I thought maybe it could be a different wheel but I definitely hear it both inside and outside the vehicle in the front left. Pictures below our of new rotor and pads. Any idea whats causing this? Also, noticing on the rotor a wear pattern on the top that appeared only after driving up and down the street. could the caliper be rubbing against the rotor?
