Easy way to change oil filters on 4 w d

I've got 96000 miles on my 2017 Ram 1500 4 wheel drive with 5.7. It has always been so hard to get to the filter to loosen it and change it. Last oil change I went with a K&N oil filter and installed it like always. Today I wanted to try something different. Instead I took a 1 inch 12 point box end wrench. I could not believe how easy it was to take off and install. If you've never tried this and use a K&N filter, try it out. You won't be disappointed. Hope this helps someone.

K&N makes a good filter, but you could just get a filter wrench that fits.

The issue with these trucks is more about the access to remove and install the filter without making a mess than it is about getting it tightened or loosened.
