Vinyl wrap is always an option on your covers too David. I did some 3D carbon fiber vinyl, which comes is different colors BTW including "spicy" red and black, and clearcoated over the vinyl. It turned out great. This was on my old Rumble Bee. I didnt yellow and silver carbon fiber. I'll post a pic if I can find one. Your truck is looking awesome Bro!

So I ordered the 3d cf vinyl and received it, then I found 4D high gloss cf vinyl, liked it better and order that too! Soon I am gonna have ******* 14 feet of cf wrap! Lol!

It's all good, I might use some of it in my cab, and I also have an idea for some carbon fiber on my front bumper, but that will have to be a different thread... ;)

Really not a big deal, at all, to open the headlights David. You just have to be patient.

They have to be. There's no way to the vinyl contoured that perfectly unless you use a helluva lotta heat and even then.

A little bit more engine bay bling

I played with various carbon fiber designs on my Vararam cover, but this one is my favorite so far... (I got a second filter cover to mess around with)
Also, covered my pcm cover with the cf vinyl, and next will be the battery cover as soon as I get it from 3gCustomz.
Last, they will get a couple coats of high gloos clear coat.

Gonna wrap it with vinyl or paint you think? Does it attach in some way or just sit over top of the padded cover?

Here ya go, wrapped in cf vinyl. Sorry, I wish the pictures were better...

The last picture is what the finish will look like with a thick high gloss clear coat.

It's gonna just sit, it's pretty heavy steel. I wanted mine to slip off like a little paar of carbon fiber panties!!!

However, I am working with 3G to make one that will have a little L shape at the bottom and will slip under that clip/bolt that holds the battery in place. See picture:

(I thought this cover was so ugly, it looks like a paar of old men's underwear. lol!)

Looks good man! Interested to see how the CF will look once cleared. Yeah that last one looks an awful lot like a nasty pair of fruit of the looms.

Thanks man! Lol @ Fruit of the Looms!

I covered the under side completely, too. I used scraps because I was feeling frugal at the time. :)

I am thinking about taking it to a body shop for the clear coat... I hate painting AND I suck at it.

Last pic is all the cf for the engine bay. THAT'S IT! I am not gonna over do it. :favorites13:
