exhaust gasket question

on every motor ive worked on ive always put a gasket between the header and the heads...well my headers blew a hole the other day so I got a new set and this warning piece of paper was in the box that said the manufacture recommends that you don't use a gasket...but there is a gasket in the box wtf?? so now im thoroughly confused any one have any input??

Are they headers or manifolds? If headers then yes put a gasket. If stock manifolds, then no, just torque it down.

it has a Gibson exhaust on it but cant drop the big bucks for new headers and the girlfriend works at advance so she picked me up a set of what should be stock style dorman manifolds... so just straight bolt on then?

Yep just bolt them on, as posted no gaskets for a stock style manifold.
