Guy I'm thinking about getting a set of 4 or 5" MBRP tips. What would be the benefits if any? And would how exactly will they change the exhaust tone on my truck. I'm running a Cherry bomb extreme with the resonators on still. Any help is appreciated.

Ok that's what I was thinking. So the 5" tips will fit in the factory bumper indents?

Yeah they dont really change the tone. At least I didn't notice a difference when I installed my 5" tips but they do fill out the exhaust opening nicely.

Old cell pic of mine. Not aligned that great but i plan on longtubes & new exhaust system later on. So ill just get them aligned better at that time. Mine are angle cut.

what sizes/model# are those?

Not sure on model # but you can just search on eBay or Amazon for MBRP exhaust tips. His are the straight cut chrome 5" tips. They are 4" inlet/5" outlets. Mine are the black angle cut ones and I used the 2.5" in/4" outlet adapter.

5" rolled tips that came with the SW CB. I've aligned them better since these shots.

I like the roll a little better. The thin ones don't do it for me as much. can't really see them when looking straight on.

Just a personal opinion.

My reso's are still on but with the 18" mufflex and 5"X 12" rolled edge tip's, changing to the larger tip's produced a deeper tone.

I'm interested in getting the black tips because the plasti-dip on the stock one's I put on is starting to come off and seems like a good touch to the black out theme. I am thinking of getting the 4"inlet / 5" outlet. So here are my questions ... Will that size work on my tailpipes? Which length do you recommend 12" or 18"? For those that DIY'd it, how did you get stock tip off? I want to avoid paying someone to install but don't want to make it look like crap. Thanks ... great pics btw.
