Factory tint

Has anyone measured the factory tint on the front and rear door windows? I’ve read numbers all over the place in the back ranging from 18% to 35%, and on the front anywhere from 80% to 96%. I cant imagine there’s THAT much variance. Can anyone confirm numbers? Trying to figure out options for what to get when I get mine done.

From what I understand standard factory tint is 20% on the rear windows

My tint guy says factory tint measures 18%.

What about front windows? Sticker says “minimum 70% transparency”, but it doesn’t look like much if any at all.

The reason I’m asking is Texas law says 25% light transmission on the front windows. No one will go less than 35% tint. I will ask them to check it, but if I can prove it mathematically I might be able to get them to go lower than 35% on the front

Below are CO laws so I would assume they are less than this from the factory.

• Windshield: Non-reflective 70% VLT tint is allowed on the top 4 inches of the windshield.
• Front Side windows: Must allow more than 27% of light in.
• Back Side windows: Must allow more than 27% of light in.
• Rear Window: Must allow more than 27% of light in.

My tint guy said my back doors were stock 24%. I had them all done 15%
