We tow a 22 foot 16K trailer with elevated deck with another 8 feet of tongue and either an M37 6X6 V8 at 9,000 lbs., an M37 with a V8, or a couple of different W350s, We drop a slide in camper in the bed and off we go throughout the West. I like the factory air suspension, it holds the truck level regardless of the weight. We towed the same trailer with my Son's 2500 and had a hard time with swaying and pushing the truck around. My 3500 is duals, the second Ram Cummins I had years ago was a 96 2500. Traded it in for another Cummins dually as I didn't like how it towed. Been dually ever since.

No one drives 90 MPH "accidentally". If you're towing and driving over about 65 MPH under the best of circumstances, you're going to eventually have an accident, kill someone, or die yourself. Holy ****.

Yikes. Most trailer tires aren't rated for anything over 65mph.

I would suggest havokeachday consider taking his truck & trailer to an RV service center. Those service guys know all about what upgrades could be done to counter sway. Maybe upgrading the airbags? Maybe it's something as simple as ball height? Maybe the stock tires RAM gave you suck? Maybe you really do need a WDH? There are so many things it could be. Anything given here is pure speculation.

It seems you are talking about a 1 ton, not the subject 3/4 ton. The factory air suspension is very different between those two.
