I'm not spending a penny on performance until I pick up my Hemi or CTD :) These 3.7s aren't worth the money or effort in my opinion.

Well, this truck is gonna be with me for awhile. So I might as well make it the best truck it can be.

for your guy's 3.7s, are you guys going with more kind of like dyi/cheeper mods for gains because it seems companies are only focused on the big engines, (hemi, 6.0, 5.3 and the 5.4) Ie custom cold air intakes, power wires, custom throttle bodies ect ect?
or am i completely off and there is a vast array for the 3.7?

For the most part everything I will do to my truck will either be DIY or I'll pay a company to make it just for my truck.

Everyone tells me to get a hemi, I'll get a hemi when this engine dies on me. I really like this body style and hope it'll go for a long time.

Well at the very least, Hypertech makes a programmer for your truck. JBA also makes headers. If you can find some cores, you can get custom cams ground if you really want. I know the older 3.7's, some of them can be custom tuned with SCT (don't know if this works for the newer models). My wife has a 3.7 Liberty that I have custom tuned, makes a very noticeable difference even pretty much stock (and it's a tune designed for 87 octane).

My buddy put 240K on his 3.7 Dakota - would probably still be driving it if he hadn't fallen on bad times and neglected the PM.
