Hello and thanks for letting me onto ya'lls forums. I was unsure where to post this but since it deals mainly with performance I'll start here. I'm looking to replace my hood with a fiberglass aftermarket unit and am looking to go ram air. I was wondering if anyone had gone this route and would give me a little insight on what I'm getting into. I've looked into quite a few hoods and they all seem to work well with an aftermarket air box. That being said I LOVE the look of the Vararam shaker and it seems to me if I could find a direct ram air hood that would shove it down it's throat rather than off to the side than the shaker system would not only look better but function better as well. Sorry for the wall of text and thank you ahead of time for your responses!!
