So I want to order some pocket style fender flares for my bright white 1500, so I got to looking on eBay and found these. $396 but eBay is having a 15% off sale and wanted some advice before I pulled the trigger. Do these look legit? The seller has great feedback in regards to quality and fit, but I also was curious because it states “2013 and 2014” fender flares in the title. Is it worth it??8a454502b16e24d8a7303ee3c9ef9b77.jpg

The picture looks like it's for a 2500? but the description says 1500.. I always hate sellers like that. Give it a try and report back!

That’s why I’m apprehensive... if you can’t get it right in your item description that may be the case when it comes down to the actual product...

sounds to me like you already have your answer. I get the price is nice, but get the smittybuilt ones that are non painted, and have your local shop paint them. I promise promise promise you'll be 100% happier in the future with them.

I paid 300, but i took them already prepped. Sanded and such. So they gave me a deal-ish. the actual flares were about 400 and some change, and another 300 to paint them. Though, I ended up selling them, and going with flat black. I have a black truck so it looked kinda cool!

I can get them for that total price already painted I’d think. Maybe just not on eBay though...

Ya know I’m thinking about going with the Rough country painted flares. I like the styling and they’re going for $600 painted and shipped.

just curious if you did go with the rough country? I also am looking to buy flares, need a bit more fender width.

The cheapest I've seen flares painted at a body shop is about $200---the most is about $450---so somewhere in that range would be average.

here are the rough country flares on a 1500

they also mave a version with all the bolts along the edge that a lot of people go with but i chose the smooth flares to see how theyd look
