Fender flares for sport models

I’m looking to purchase flares for my 2018 1500 Night edition but it seems that every option excludes the sport models for some odd reason. I realize the bumper is different than the two piece chrome ones but I can’t seem to figure out what would stop the flares from fitting on the sport anyways.

I have tried finding my answer on the forums and have seen people opt for the 2500/3500 OEM fender flares on their 1500 sports but still not sure why.

The bushwhacker website literally shows a picture of flares on a sport and it says in the description “doesn’t fit on sport”. What gives??

Can someone clarify why the sport is excluded on many flares and what flares work with the sport so I don’t purchase the wrong ones. I want no drill option as well.

Most everyone uses the flares for the 2500s on the Sport and Express models as the fit the front " bumper" better.

I was gonna pull the trigger on a set of 2500 flares just wasn’t sure if there was actually a 1500 sport flare that would fit better.

I went through that thread. I don’t like how they just stop randomly. The bushwackers go all the way down to the bumper but I’m pretty sure they say not available for Sports so I’m just confused.

I ended up buying the OEM 2500 ones. I was reading a review where a guy said his full length bumper bushwackers kept flying off the front. Figure I can’t go wrong with OEM fitment and won’t run into any issues! Got to get them painted when they come in though.
