Just wanted to say hello, all. I've owned a couple of SUVs in my life, but never owned a pickup. For a couple years I've been telling my wife "I need a TRUCK!" For all those things homeowners need them for... wanna buy a new mattress and box spring? Yes. Wanna wait three weeks for delivery? No. I NEED A TRUCK. New TV? I need a truck. Rebuild the shelves in the garden shed with lumber from Home Depot? I need a truck.
Yesterday, I finally got my truck -- a black 2015 Ram 1500 Express Crew Cab. I shopped for this truck for 18 months. Had a couple of close calls on other Rams, but the deal didn't work out. Shopped for a couple of GMC Sierras, too, but I never liked the way they look compared to the 4th Gen Ram, and decided to keep looking. Dealer agreed to throw in some side steps as part of the deal, and those get installed tomorrow. So, thanks for hearing me out. I am thrilled to count myself amongst your ranks as a Ram truck owner.
