Flash hack upgrade for Maps and Uconnect.

So apparently up here in Canada we get hosed by the dealer a $100 for every map flash upgrade. Also with U connect we can't use our smart phone to connect and start our truck like it's avail in the USA??
Does anyone know where ine Edmonton, Alberta if there's anyone doing a hack for this or to flash using the US FLASH so I can remote start my truck in the winter from my smart phone??

the u-connect phone app i have been told that the service is through sprint. is sprint available up there?

Pretty sure everyone has to pay for the maps. Total ripoff because here it's 149.95 USD.
