So, I seem to have an issue with one of my TPMS sensors. At least that is what I believe.

Driving to work this morning it appeared that I had a flat....

And then a mile down the road...

Refilled on its own, but then back to flat again in another mile.

Anyway, on Saturday we went somewhere and it showed only 22 psi at first, then up to 29, and another couple miles up to 41. It was ok the rest of the day. Got into the truck this morning and it was at 0 most of the way to work, then up to 40, then back to 0. Drove it home for lunch with no issues.

My guess is that the battery may be going. Does anyone know if these are replaceable batteries or do you have to replace the entire sensor?

You need to replace the entire sensor. They are $15-20 on eBay or Amazon for the factory units and Walmart will swap it for $9. I've done it multiple times with good success. Did it today and still having an issue but I think it is more than just my sensor. Les Schwab wanted $35+ tax to swap the sensor.

I would also add is if one is going, the others are probably not far behind. I would invest in a set and get them all changed at the same time.
