I just bought a 2008 Ram 1500 with fog lights that were cracked in the bumper. I ordered new LED lights and when I went to install them I found the harness was butchered and a wire had been ran to a small switch under the dash and then direct to the battery with a fuse.
Turns out the truck never had factory fog lights as the light switch has no fog lights switch.
I like the lights and want them to work as they should.
If I buy the proper switch is it simply a matter of plugging in the switch to make them work correctly? Is there any other place that needs plugged in?
I assume the wiring harness is the same as I can't see Dodge making 2 different harnesses.
