So I've been reading around a bit but haven't found anything like I'm wanting to do. I want to be able to still use my factory fog light switch to turn my fog lights on with my highbeams on. Not good at all with electrical so I didn't want to try and mess with it. I have a 2013 big horn with quad beams

I don't think you have actually been reading around a bit for that subject. There's quite a few threads on this and a diy writeup.

Scroll through the diy section and use google a little better. Or just wait a few days and someone will pull out their spoon. :)

IMO

Everything I read was the fog lights come on and off with your highbeams which I don't want, want the option of on or off with the highbeams on

If you want the fogs to work with both highs and lows, AND have the option of turning them off, the most simple way would be set the circuit up as a completely separate circuit with a switch and dedicated relay. I believe you wouldn't be able to use the OEM switch as it won't have power to it on high beams.
