Friends LS1 1982 s10 VS my 98 Cobra

My cobra is not supercharged (in case any one is wondering)

it is a DOHC 4.6 -305hp stock and is making around 300rwhp NOW

I have intake, x pipe, loudmouth cat-back, tune.

My friends truck has a crate motor LS1 for a 2001 vette, around 1000 miles on it, Longtubes (open), 850cfm carb. and a High rise edlebrock single plain intake manifold, built tranny w/ B&M shifter you knock into gear...he also weighs 2700lbs with no passenger, and im at around 3400lbs with no passenger.

I feel like these are rigged....or the info is incorrect, my buddy had a cobra stang and it was fast but wasnt that fast and his had headers, tune, and a few other things and my little hemi (stock) could keep up with him for the most part, from a dig i always beat him to about 50 then he pulled ahead by about half a car.....

what truck did you have a hemi in?...like a 4 door or single cab...his truck is a high 12 sec 1/4...my car is a low 13.1-13.3 sec on street tires and with radials can break 12's...i was just about powershifting the thing haha, but trust me it isn't rigged and I thought he would at least pull 3 cars or so. His truck still needs a tune, he is getting radials, tune and 125 shot for tx2k14...we were just curious to see what they run right now.....also his truck is only running a 3.08 rear end

It's running just a tad little rich...but I don't think it will run too much better than it is with a tune, it's carbed and his air fuel is pretty good right now, just not the best.

If it says anything, I have raced a tuned 2012 SS camaro and got him by 2 cars, and a 2013 Auto 5.0 stock and got him by 2 cars...I forgot to say my car has a 4.10 gear in the back, just didnt want to list it in the video because I don't want my friends to know...I went from 35-100mph in all the videos of us racing, his truck is no slouch haha

This. I've seen stock '13 gt run 12.4-12.7s bone stock
Haven't actually been to the track but have hit 12.8 at 111 according to the track app with a 6 speed manual and 3.73

Yes, he knew...it was back before I had a iPhone to film stuff...the auto's with 2.73 and 3.31 gears are not that fast...I don't think I could beat the track pack 5.0 with 3.73's...but when I go to the track I see stock 5.0's running any where from 13.8 down to a 12.7...just depends on the driver...I'm running 13.2 average 1/4 mile on street tires and 12.8 on drag radials...we went from 40 rolls when I raced the SS and the 5.0....I'm not lying I guess the time it took him to down shift I had a car on him and pulled a little more, then he stopped my pull then the race went for a few seconds..race was over. Anyways if I run another SS or new 5.0 I will upload it to my channel and have to mods like usual and I will post it here for you guys to see. But besides that...this s10 I raced I was suprised I did that well against him.

I've had plenty of DOHC 4.6's. He said he has 4.10's, that's the key to those motors. I had an '01 cobra not long ago that ran well into the 12's with bolt ons and 4.10's. Absolutely no "around town" torque though lol. Gotta rev those suckers.
