Was looking around under the 2020 Ram and noticed the front drive shaft spins freely sitting idle. Are the front diff and driveshaft not connected until you pick the 4wd in the cab? My Jeep tj is constantly connected to the front diff.

If you look at your front axle, it should have an axle disconnect on the housing witch engages when 4wd is activated to engage the axle along with the transfercase.
