Generic front end noise is tough to diagnose through a computer.

Does it do it when turning, going straight, when hitting a bump, etc?

My first guess is to check bushings, of which there are a lot of them up front. Metal on metal can make a creaking sound but for there to be metal on metal you would have to have some bushing or other joint be completely shot to where it is allowing that contact. Wheel bearings or a ball joint MAY make a noise like that, though that's now what I would expect them to sound like.

Ball joints. Very common on Dodge/Rams.
