2016 3500 diesel. the rear fuel filter has a water sensor on the bottom of the filter. I am having a lot of difficulty disconnecting the electrical connector for the water sensor. Would someone please let me know how to do this.
Thank you

It is awkward , , as you can see that little small black clip is up there a bit hard to reach . It's a release clip ,you have to push the little tab on it while you pulling it off . It can be a little stubborn . I push the tab ,and wiggle it as I am pulling on it to come out .

Maybe someone will come along ,and explain it better , but for the most part as said , you have to push the release clip to get it to come out . Maybe google a picture of that sensor ,and you will see the clip on it .

I am assuming you are referring to disconnecting from the truck ? If you are asking about how to disconnect from the filter , there is a wrench you can buy from Amazon ,or Genos . Or use some water pump pliers , but be careful doing it that way .
