Just at dealership getting an oil change done. I was told that it’s time to get a fuel injector treatment done. Is this an important service?
cheers!

For me it all depends on the mileage on the motor. If you have over 75,000 on the truck then I'd say go ahead but if you are close to needing to change the spark plugs then I would do it before installing the new plugs.Just at dealership getting an oil change done. Pretty sure it does.Does it appear in the maintenance schedule in your owner’s manual?
I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist except in the dealers made up schedule. Look for it in your manual. If you find it post it up...Pretty sure it does.
Just checked online on Mopar. Com as I don't have a paper copy of the service schedule and it isn't in the owners manual on my 2018... Anyway no mention of any fuel service required at all of fuel injector cleaning. I've never seen that in the maintenance schedule for any vehicle I've ever owned... And I've had quite a few. Never have suffered from injector issues either and have had a few vehicles to 150k miles or so.I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist except in the dealers made up schedule. Look for it in your manual.
