GEN 3 2007 full center console instead of monster stereo

Bought a 07 quad cab that came with a massive stereo. 4 twelve in subwoofers going from the head unit all the way back to the rear window! liked it for about a month but im over it and want to remove it..Heres the problem.. if i take the box out i wont have the stock center console to fill the gap. anyone out there know where i can get preferably a full center console set up but id settle for the traditional 40/20/40 set up. ive seen several on ebay for 6-700 dollars but i just feel thats too much money. looking on-line for a cheap site or even if someone has one they want to get rid of.. or trade for the sub box id be open to that as well.. any help would be GREATLY appreciated

seth_5.7 its so loud if i turn it all the way up and dont have the windows rolled down it will blow out the glass! Rear view mirror is un mountable at this point just falls down.. its fun once in a while but im starting a family and i need the extra room.

I totally get it. In my younger years I was all about using up seat space for speakers.

Have you tried a pick and pull or car-part yet? I have been trying to track down a console for my truck for a long time now. They all seem to be really expensive, broken or missing pieces.

You might be able to swap someone on craigslist or facebook market place too. Or at least offset the cost some.

ya ive looked on car-part some. couldnt find what im looking for as of yet. but there is a huge pick and pull in West Palm im going to check out hopefully next weekend and see what treasures i can get out of there

If I wasn't 4 states away id happily trade you my console for those subs, hell I'd even throw cash, but I don't think the ol 06 would make it that far.

UPS ships nationwide brother. what kind of center console do you have? im sure we can work something out.

Reason I ask is if I'm not mistaken the seat frame brackets are a little different between jump seat and console models. Do yours stick out like this:



If so then you'll have to do modifications to fit a console to it properly. An option that might work is the 4th gen jump seat:

the sub box literally covers everything ( as shown in above pictures) i have no idea, but the 4th gen doesnt look terrible to me. i dont want to start ripping things out until i have somthing to replace it with. but thank you for the advice and knowledge i appreciate it

Mine is the light grey/tan leather console with the seat and storage under the seat. No cup holders.

Anything is possible with the know how and funding lol. Chrisp2493 swapped in a 4th gen console and LX front seats. I swapped in 4th gen seats and console.

They didn't load the first time, jesus christ....it probably wouldn't match color wise but I still have my 03 jump seat

Your truck came with the jump seat. Also the 06-08 trucks didn’t have full center consoles like the 4th gens. It was a console but it was lower profile.

You are having a hard time finding a 3rd gen one because there wasn’t as many of them like the 4th gens so when they are available they go for good money.

However like hemilonestar said you can make a 4th gen console work(just all the corners and lines won’t match up)
