Hi everyone,

I know there are already a lot of threads on the H11 to H9 low beam bulb conversion (and I have read them all looking for this answer), but I'm wondering if there is anyone here that has done this conversion and have ran these bulbs for over 1 year, and driven longer that 4+ hours straight with the lows on?

I'm from northern BC and when we are in the middle of our winter, it gets dark at 4:30 pm and there will be times when I'm driving in the dark for 4+ hours.

Because of how much hotter these bulbs run I just wanted to look for any feedback before doing the swap...

Thanks all! Have a great weekend!

I did the conversion on my parents 2015 explorer three years ago and both lights still work and I would say they've probably put 30-35K miles on it in that time. I actually tried them in my RAM but eventually went to HIDs but they are considerably better than the stock bulbs. Can't say on the four hour thing. If I hadn't had HIDs in my previous RAM they would still be in there but its hard to go back to halogen when you get used to HIDs/LEDs.
