Had a conversation with my Ram this morning.

Got to wondering about the voice command capabilities in my '25 Big Horn. So I said -

Hey Ram - Turn on the passenger seat warmer. In a moment or two, it replied passenger seat warmer turned on. Sure enough the indicator for the seat warmer lit up.

How often do you use the voice command feature, and what do you use it for?

My 2014 might not be that sophisticated but you have me curious.
Will my truck respond? Or will my phone?
I guess I better not mix-up GOOGLE, SIRI, and RAM!

In the past I have only pressed the Phone button and said "CALL"
or "DIAL" and it does it. But that's as far as I went with it.

STRICTLY used only when receiving/sending IM messages. Other than that, to me an annoyance. I only do the IM stuff because of hands free laws when driving. And I have a 19, so U cannot just go in and tell it all dat stuff, U have to initiate. There are some call/dial features built in but I do not use.

Are you able to adjust the seat warmer settings between high and low using voice commands?

That might be useful to me because it rarely stays on high very long.

I'll test to see if that functions on my '21.

Wait a minute, IIRC, I disabled the 'Hey Ram' feature years ago because it did stupid things. LOL

Everything is new when your memory is short.

Same as tb56, I only use voice commands for sending text messages.

I tried it for NAV destinations for fun.
Most of mine are addresses, it's just easier to push buttons on the Uconnect.

More often than not I'm alone on the road while leaving my area and I don't visit the big city too often.

Today, I tried Hey Rem - Set the driver seat warmer to Medium. That worked. Was also able to ask it to turn off the steering wheel heater.

Awesome! And thanks for the update.

I may have to figure out how to enable that 'Hey Ram' feature again for seat warmer tweaks.

I'm 99% sure I disabled it after the stupid machine kept interrupting me because it decided I was asking for something it could perform. Then again, I rarely have passengers now, unlike when I first tried the feature.

I have a truck. No seat or steering wheel heater. I have no idea what functions I could ask the truck to do for me other than dial my wife.

My '14 Laramie has so many functions I've probably never used
80% of them.

But, yeah, the "call my wife" has seen regular use right from the start.

How about HVAC controls?

My wife has a higher trim journey and she can do a ton of things with the steering wheel buttons, but the one thing I would actually use em for (HVAC) it doesnt

What year is yours? Maybe I'm just overlooking it

It's funny, when I bought the journey everyone was like "hope you don't have to change the battery"

Yeah, uh huh, that's a once every 5,6 year adventure, I'm not gonna let that stop me from getting a car that checks all the boxes
