the halos are epoxy'd to the shrouds. :D Not a hard thing.

CCFLs, little harder - as you need to drill holes in the shrouds to get the wires through. Then you need to mount it, typically I use wire to hold it in. Just don't overtighten it........you'll snap the CCFL.

Sorry bud, in the frenzy of getting everything packed up today I didn't realize that I didn't get a shot of them lit up until they were snuggled nicely in 2 boxes and in the back of my truck.

No problem!
Maybe on set #3 :********:

Man how do you do the two tone paint on the lights, do you paint it the body color first then tape it off then paint it black??

Well.......its really tough!

Here's my process though. First, the customer and I decide on a paint scheme. Then.....I rip the lights open. Then, I hand the part to my painter and say "do this". Then about a week later I get it back and I oooh and ahhhh and then shove that booger in a light. :D

But to answer your question, lets say we are doing a black light with red accents. Paint the red first. Let it dry. Tape over the red. Paint black. Clear the entire thing. :birgits_tiredcoffee

Hahaha that sounds like a tough process for you. Must take you a lot of prep work!! :p

That's what I'd assume would happen though, i picked up some headlights today yey! But broke off one of that little tabs that bolts it to the truck :( but I'll glue it.

Anyways! Another question, how do you take them apart without destroying them?? You don't need to give up all your secrets if you don't want to :D first ones I did the outsides were all bent and look like poopoo

Hahaha it's not fun at all!! I was drippin sweat by the end! Probably because I put em at 225 for 10 minutes only. That extra time will definitely help though. I was to scared about hurting it though :D thanks bud
