So, I'm a bit confused with the Head and head gasket issue. Are the heads the same with just different gaskets or am I missing something.
I have the heads that came off the engine and the both have the same numbers on them.

No there is a left and a right for both Left drivers side Right passenger you can usually tell by looking at the front/back of the heads to tell what side they are on. Usually one side is dirtier then the other. Also the drivers side has the bolt holes for the power steering pump. The new head gaskets will be stamped left and right dont mix them up or you will be doing the whole job again also make sure to use new head bolts as well.

Thanks! I know I got the head gaskets right, going to need to check on the heads. Thanks again!

I went out and took a look at both heads. On the surface where the intake goes but up close to the valve cover there is a number on both one is 2054022211 the other number is 2054022612 Do these make any sense to you?
