Hopefully this will be a very short-lived thread.

What I thought was an opt7 bulb burned out...isnt. My passenger low beam does not work.

I swapped the housing over to the drivers side, and all is fine. I traced the wires as much as I could, un/replugged every connection I can find...

What I dont see is a headlight fuse or anything to trouble shoot.. Everything online pulls up **** for 06s and other none applicable situations.

Heeeeeeelllllllllllll..pppppppppp...!!

The only thing I see is this plug that is disconnected, but probably wasn't ever connected to anything to begin with..

Ok ok... Everybody calm down... I fixed it!

How?

I don't fkin know.

I turned on the high beams, then I turned on the truck, and well they work. So if anyone ever needs any mechanical advise, I'm your guy.

I have that same loose plug. Maybe its the radar cruise control in the higher trims?

I think that loose plug is for the hood sensor if you have remote start.

OEM quads I assume? Ya, I couldn't find a fuse either. Did you try the driver's side housing to the passenger side too? Not sure what that would tell you. If you have a DMM you could probe the connectors to see if its truck or headlight housing causing the problem. I think there are 3 wires. I know you already checked the connections, but mine would bend the pins if I wasn't careful.

Yea its weird.

I got them working last night with halogens in them.. Then I swapped for the opt7, checked everything, worked good.

This morning when I unlocked the truck both headlights were on. When I cranked it, the passenger side went out again.

Probably need to check the opt7 gadgets to make sure it's not on their end. Feel like it's something that would happen if the capacitor was bad.

After reverting back to halogen... Now my passenger side headlight will not adjust up or down, just spins freely.

I fkin hate this headlight tinkering. Worst luck when it comes to this.

Any ideas?

Edit:

I found the issue after only 2 hours.

The little plastic clips have to be inside that groove. If the post is spinning, it's not right.

I removed the t20 screw and beat the **** out of the light, then it seated somehow? Wtf

So did you pull the OPT7's for good or put them back in? I saw the fog light on the other thread, I was wondering if that was caused by taking the lower plastic valance off since the plastic helps cover the fog openings.
