alright so i want to get some brighter bulbs but after reading horror stories about our trucks frying tipm because they are super picky what kind of bulbs is everyone running just looking for a nice bright bulb since i am worried about hids any input is appreciated

Got these in the mail the other day: CREE Kit 9008 H13 Pack of 2 LED Bulbs 25W Each Hi Lo Dual Beam Headlight Upgrade | eBay

In stock housings they are awesome. Using them until I can get my others rebuilt. Light output is a ton better than the stock headlights. Have had them installed for almost 3 weeks now and absolutely no problems at all. Just be aware that you may have to take the gasket off the bulbs you are replacing and stick it between the led's gasket and the housing to make sure the led is in there tight. I had to do that.
