Hi from Colorado
I bought this 2025 6.7 a couple weeks ago. It will be towing a 7,200lb off road toy into the mountains and it will be our road trip vehicle. At some point down the road it might also pull a 6K travel trailer. I thoroughly enjoyed the 10 hour drive back from Tulsa where I picked it up. So far I have done full clear wrap, ceramic coat and tint. I am looking at the Perigon tectonic bed cover (when its available) or the diamond back switchback cover. Also considering a Carli leveling kit and 35s. Nothing too aggressive as I already have an off road toy. Any experience or recommendations on any of this? Also new to Diesels so tips & tricks are welcomed.

Plan on plugging it in during winter. Use number one diesel when you can find it. Use an additive to boost cetane and take out water in winter from condensation. If your heater doesn't work well enough, but some cardboard in front of your radiator.

Change your filters. Sometimes they need changing before the book says so. Pay attention to fuel filters. Learn how to change them. I carry spare fuel filters and a few tools for traveling in the outback.

Colorado is a great place. I would still be there if I could have made a better living. But you have to like winter.

Welcome! That's a nice rig!

The most important thing you can do with a diesel is work it. That will help keep the emissions system happy.

Secondly, don't skimp on fuel filter changes and try to use OEM filters whenever possible. Aside from that... don't overthink it too much.

Enjoy the truck!
