I'm beginning to wonder about the grind on your cam. I installed a Hellfire that was supposed to be a 114 +4(like the Sidewinder), meaning a 114 LSA with 4 degrees advance ground into the cam that would put it at 110 installed. It installed at 108, if yours was similar it may be on the verge of needing a custom tune?

If the cam timing is bouderline, he can install an adjustable timing gear and roll a little retard into the cam to try to stablize the idle.

Just an FYI I installed BV heads on someone's truck a couple weeks back(about 300 miles ago) and he was having issue's after he went to the drag strip. Ran great before but on the last run began to run like *** and wouldn't hold an idle, much like yours did. He got home ready to yank his valve covers thinking he broke a spring or something, turned out one of his torque tubes fell off at the strip and that was causing all his problems. Can't stress enough how important the exhaust is and how dramatically it effects how your truck runs.

Man I wonder what your A/F is looking like. If its stalling alot and the air and fuel are far off your gonna do damage to your motor.
