Anyone used the eflexfuel plus kit on their 2nd gen Ram? I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie with the 5.9L and only getting a 2-3mpg bump even after all of this:
- Replaced every single crusty rubber vacuum and evaporative system hose throughout engine bay and all the way to the canisters and fuel pump with new silicone hoses
- Replaced both under bed vapor/evap canisters with new ones
- Replaced every evap system component (leak detection pump, purge valve, vent solenoid, etc.)
- Replaced MAP sensor & IAC valve
- Replaced PCV & crankcase breather valves
- Replaced fuel pump/filter/sending unit cluster with new one
- Replaced old ignition coil with new SMP UF198 Blue Streak ignition coil
- Replaced old spark plugs and cables with new Thundervolt 8.2mm cables and NGK G-Power Spark Plugs
- Replaced stock distributor with new WVE Premium distributor cap and rotor
- Replaced stock injectors with Bosch 4-hole injectors (though I mistakenly got the 27lbs injectors not the 24lbs)
- Replaced stock keg-style intake manifold with the Hughes Air Gap Intake manifold
- Replaced the stock TB with Hughes Big Gulp 1007CFM TB.
- Replaced stock air intake with the Volant 368592 fenderwell + cold air intake system
- Replaced exhaust manifold with Gibson GP301S-C shorty headers
- Replaced exhaust with 2.5" stainless pipes into Magnaflow Flowmaster 2030005 cat and Cherry Bomb single pass muffler out to dual exhaust
- O2 sensors all replaced
- Superchips F5 Flashpaq 3845 set to 87 octane tune and using correct tire size to correct speedo as I'm rolling on 285/75/16s

Basically its all new outside of lower engine block/pistons/cams/rollers. With all this I really expected to be at least 12+ mpg-wise but I'm lucky if I get over 9. I assumed it's compensating for the oversized injectors and thats why I didn't see a huge bump but what do you guys think? My next step is to replace the 27lbs injectors with the correct 24lbs size to see if that helps but if you think 3lbs is not the reason then I'll save myself the money and trouble. Runs just fine with perfect idle and throttle response is great. Just feel like mpg should be better with all that + the Flashpaq 87 octane tune.

But then that brings me back to my initial question: has anyone used the eflexfuel plus kit on their 2nd gen Magnum? Did you get decent mpg and/or power bump off of E85? I figured that was my next step and run the ethanol tune but wanted to hear from others that tried it.

I suppose I didn't consider that going from 245s to 285s means I needed to go to at least 3.92 in my differential ratio too so that would also contribute to worse mpg.
