Teach, isn't yours running to rich right now? Bullet yours might be running a touch to rich when idling? Definitely need a wideband in there.

I didn't realize there was no AF gauge in this truck. Guess that wasn't too smart any tuning attempt now will be about as useful as Helen Keller trying to give you help to hook up a trailer.
im not trying to get any custom tuning right now...
Alright I've done quite a bit of tuning with the PSC-1, and it's basically only really decent at adding fuel at WOT. The PSC-1 works by manipulating MAP voltage, which also can have adverse effects on your trans, adding fuel isn't a problem, removing fuel can bring trans carnage. If you're able to just remove fuel at idle you'll be fine, any higher and you're asking for trouble. The PSC-1 is a poor replacement for a custom tune. Honestly I would either get a SCT or Diablo and have Hemifever/Sean tune it for you. I know money is tight but later when you can afford it, you'll be much happier with a custom tune. Another thing is you need a laptop to use the PSC-1, not sure if you have one.
ok yea i was reading about the psc 1 lastnight. just judging from that i would rather save money and get a custom tune. only thing is i really dont want to lose my shiftpoints... i know jason is gonna be doing the stack so i might wait and see how that works out for him.
idk if the computer is just taking longer to learn bc we did both cam and headers or what. like i said the past two days sometimes i can come to a stop and it wont die others it will. and yea i do have a laptop to use the psc for
Uncalled for. We were all giving suggestions. I'm hoping you were joking but it didn't come across like you were

There have been numerous people stack the SCT/SC without issue. I dont think i'd try doing DSP/SC though. I know you know this, but for $375 you can get custom tuning and the SCT programmer from Hemifever. If you go custom, thats the route i would go.
