Teach, I wonder if the fact that you also have a few extra mods that bullet doesn't is what causing you to run a little leaner than him which in return is making your truck run alright whlie his is stalling. You have a larger diameter exhaust piping, the elec fan and the ported tb. I wonder if that combo or one of those extra mods is making yours run just lean enough that yours runs fine. Between yours and his the LTFT's are about 10 points difference so maybe yours is just below the point that the stalling accures while his is at or boarding that point. Just thinking out loud....

That could be it. There are just so many possibilities at this point it is hard to tell what might be a coincidence and what might be an actual contributing factor. I would just hate to see him start throwing more money at this with things like a custom tune if he really doesn't need it.

There are others running the sidewinder with out a custom tune right, so bullet go take a look at their other mods and see what they all are running that you don't have... maybe its as simple as the high flow cats ot no cats.... id still retighten the header bolts and check the egr hose first but after that id look into what others have that are running it vs what you have. You can't use teach as an example cause he has a few other mods that you do not.

theres a 4.7 with the 5.7 swap running the sidewinder on a 4.7 pcm.. dont think the mods have things to do with it. but ill check the bolts and stuff later today...

If it's anything like flashing a GM pcm, you can't just buy the thing and call it good. You have to have an account through AC Delco (or in this case Chrysler IF it's the same) to download the updated PCM info and reload it onto the computer.

thats a tuner...

throttle body could be the main culprit, or the tb coupled with the larger ex pipes....both have lt's, the fan i cant see having to much to do with it....just my take on things....

The SCTs have custom tunes that apply to your PCM part number. Kinda like I have a SCT but I couldnt retune it to stock and have it work on yours unless you have my PCM part number. There is no tune on the SCTs out of the box... an authurized dealer or tuner has to make you a file for it.

The lighting bolt is the TB freaking out because your fethering the gas and applyin the brakes. I got the same when I had to 2 foot my truck before we got the cam straightened out. You will prob pop a code also for it saying brake and throttle incompattible I think.
