Hey guys- I need some help making a decision. I know this topic has been covered before and believe me, I think I've been though every topic on this forum trying to decide. I finally decided on what lift I want to run which is a Zone 6" (5" rear) with Bilsteins at 2.1. From what I have read, this should have me sitting level.
For tires, I cannot decide. I wanted to avoid 37s so I didn't take too big of a performance and mpg hit, but I don't want to be unhappy after spending $4k to get this lift/wheels/tires done either. Also, doing some calculations, the difference in effect gear ratios between 35s and 37s isn't much, so I would guess its the weight more than anything that causes the hit which is somewhat avoidable.
So my question- what size tires do you guys think would look best on this lift? I absolutely don't want them to look too small and have to get another set of tires. My decision would be between 325/60R20s for 35s, or if I go up to 37s I would look at 37x12.50x20 or 37x13.50x20. One other possiblity is Kuhmo makes a 355/60R20 (37x14) that isn't bad...would this be way too wide to run though? I don't want to do any trimming but I could probably throw on a 1.5" BL if needed
My plan is to get 20x10 wheels with a -12 to -24 offset.
Your thoughts and opinions are appreciated! FYI I have an 8spd with 3.92 gears, and my truck is a total pavement princess and doesn't tow
