Help me upgrade my audio!

Current set up in my 08 1500:
Atrend Bbox housing two 10" JBL GT5-10D
Massive Audio N2 mono amp
JBL 6x9 speakers in the front

Wanting to upgrade the subs to 12" and higher wattage. The shop that I go to said they wouldn't recommend doing so, but I think there's a way around it. Help me out guys.

It is a quad cab!

underseat, limited on depth...but youcan. But its better to optimize a 10", then put a 12" in too small of a box.

Decided to optimize the 10" box by putting in two Alpine Type S woofers. Fit box specs almost exactly!

Any pictures? Did you hook everything up yourself? I was interested in adding a small amount of bass to my 08'. I want to keep the stock head unit/sat radio--was told to get a convertor and splice into my back left speaker for a signal. Curious what you did?
