HELP! U Joint Lubrication - Am I doing it right?

I found what all the videos show as the U joint lub point but it makes no sense to me and I don't know if I got any grease in the lube point.

I got this adapter because another video said this was the one to buy and use.

The grease point looks like a shinny dish shape with nothing protruding from it.

How do I know I got any grease in that little hole? When I pump some grease in it there looks like some grease is on the side but I don't know if that is grease that didn't get in the hole or coming out of where it should be coming out?

The attachment I have does not appear to go into the hole. Should there be an attachment tat goes into the hole?

Do you feel something when you push on the grease point and begin to pump in grease?

Any help would be appreciated.

Generally it is only a 2500/3500 front driveshaft thing. AFAIK, 4th gen 1500's do not come with any factory zerk lube joints.

So stupid Dodge didn't put locking hubs on the 4x4s. You would hard ever have to grease that uniball u-joint.
