Current codes are

P0325
P2302
P0403
P0406
All 4 o2 sensors (replacing soon)

Just the truck recently. It's a 2004 Ram 1500 5.7l 4WD with 140k miles on it. There was a noticeable ticking that went away after oil change, but now I'm stuck with this noise. I've read so many things from spark/coil plugs, manifold bolts, pulley/link, to far worse.

I know it's not the best video, but any help in narrowing this down to find the root problem would be amazing. I'm not overly mechanically inclined, but I can make do.

Not sure if imgurs are allowed, but it's the best way I can get the video up here I think. Let me know if I need to remove it.

I was getting codes on my 2003, turned out I had a bad O2 sensor and then got a bad new O2 sensor. Coupled with a bad wire on the sensor that I finally traced, it took care of other codes. If you received O2 error codes, my limited experience is to start there. Good luck.

Sounds good, thanks! Actually bought new o2 sensors, but they are stuck in there pretty solid. Took it to a mechanic that half ass attempted to take them out on Wednesday (he hurt his back the night prior, so he didn't want to do much pulling). He's going to replace 'em today. It looks like my torque converter doesn't have a shield on it. Someone mentioned something may have gotten in there causing a noise? Not entirely sure.

So upon further inspection after o2 sensors were replaced I went in to check for code 403 and 406. EGR valve is the known issue. Checked and the tube and valve are gone. Contacted the guy I bought the truck from and he claims it was deleted with a kit but he doesn't remember what because it was so long ago. It looks like they just took it out and didn't bother with anything else. I found Dorman 598-302 is supposed to be a replacement for 53032511AF (OEM part for 04 5.7l) but it says it isn't compatible. Anyone know if it is for sure? I'm looking at replacing the EGR tube/valve that was taken out I guess.

Also after the o2 sensors were replaced the truck stalled on me after about 5 miles on a left turn onto my road. Not sure if it was a fluke or not...
