So I just bought myself a 1997 ram 3500 dully larime with the 5.9 in it and its going to be my first truck. I want to have it finshed by october for when I get my drivers licence, I am driving my dads 08 ram 3500 most the time (practice) and I want to bring my truck up to closer to the power of it and want to know what I can do. I think stock it is 180hp and 420 tq my dads is 350hp and 650 tq so what kind of mods can I do (under 2000 to 3000 maybe bit more) I am paying for everything and I can make more cash if needed.
When It is done I want a little bit of a lift (what do you guys think) its going to have a flat bed and new tires and wheels, who makes some good dully wheels? I already found the flat bed (not instaled) and I am right now just replacing front brakes and bearings. Truck has 200K on her, my dad bought it brand new back in 97 then my cousin got it back in 08 and never drove it much so i got it from him for 3800 bucks. Also do they make any semi smoke stacks for this truck (like stick out behind the rear doors).
