Hey Guys,

So this is driving me absolutely nuts and I'm afraid there is going to be an answer to my problem that makes me feel like a *******...but here we go...

So I got new 35w HIDs for my Ram. Installed them today (With HID Harness and Anti-Flicker box) and when I go to turn on my lights, I hear an audible continuous CLICK-CLICK-CLICK... and my HIDs flash in sync with the noise but never fire up.

I thought it was maybe bad ballasts, but I grabbed the 35w ballast out of my Silverado and swapped it out and still have the same problem. I know the bulbs are good because I plugged the ballasts directly into the stock wiring (stupid I know) and they fired up. I don't want to do that too many times though because of my TIPM.

I removed the Anti-Flicker control out of the mix and still have the same problem. The only thing I can think is its the Relay, but the relay worked fine and I just pulled it off my Silverado. I've also checked to make sure everything is + to + and - to -...because it almost sounds as if its arching. Additionally, it only comes from the right side of my truck where the HID Harness connects to the stock 9007 plug.

Not sure what to do here......any help is much appreciated! My truck is kind of useless without Headlights so this is stressing me out haha....Weekends are my only free time to figure this out.

Thanks!

The anti flicker box? Is that a resistor? If not, then that is probably your problem. Rams need resistors for HIDs.

Yea a capacitor and a resistor are 2 different things. Im gonna guess and say if you get some resistors itll work perfectly.

Yeah I was just reading up on that, watched a YouTube video with the same problem and guy was able to fix it with resistors. Cool thanks man.

yeah, was going to mention that it seems the harness is missing a few things.

A couple of 50w6ohm resistors should get you back right!
