You can go a cheap route but you may not be happy. You have a nice new rig so I why not do it big.
I have a 2015 and have went through led's, headlight assemblies and now hid's. If I could do it all over I would have just got the projector headlights with the hid kits from JJ over at the retroshop.
I would encourage you to look at their website and their hid's for a a great experience. I got my Morimoto's from him and the adapters and resistors to make everything work with no issues. Plus, he can be reached if you run into problems...

I agree with going for a more high dollar kit in the heads.

My hid kit from retroshop works great.

But true...the 15's are finicky with Hids....one of the guys that have gone down this road should chime in with some insight.

Ok, hang on as we enter the rabbit hole...
First purchased a set of hid's that said they were plug and play-they worked for 20 minutes then cut off as they actually needed a relay harness and resistors. I then moved the less expensive set to my fogs and purchased the Morimoto's from Retroshop. I have the 55watt and also got the equipment needed to make them work without errors or cutting off. I can't stress this enough, and no I don't work for JJ at Retroshop but after how he handle an issue and his outstanding customer service he has earned my business. Not only does he respond back to you quickly, he gives you his cell number to text or call him. The instructions are easy to follow and if there is a problem, text him.
I have not found that kind of assistance with any company I have purchased from. It may be more up front but you also won't be buying new hid's every 6 months. Also, with the searching to find the lower price and not being sure if something works it is a gamble; JJ tests out everything to make sure the product works and he stands behind it.
I don't, I repeat, I don't give recommendations easily but JJ deserves it and that's why so many on here purchase their products from him.
Can you find less expensive, yes. Will you get the personalized attention and continued support, Hell NO!!!!

I guess you can say I went cheap. I went with the OPT7 blitz 35w 10,000k blue kit off ebay for the H11 lows and 9006 fogs. The OPT7 Blitz kit with the smaller ballast run about 45 bucks shipped priority. If you verify what model vehicle you have they will send you the capacitors and the relay kit for free. The customer service is spot on with these guys if somethings not right they will fix it or make it right. I went about the steps to install the wrong way ie plug and play is not a option you need to install the capacitors and the relay for them to work properly. But good luck with your project the more info you have the better decision you can make with your purchase.

BCountry is correct and Opt-7 makes a good product but their customer service is hit or miss; just read some of the threads with Opt-7 and you will see. BCountry had a good experience while mine and some others has been terrible.
Let's think about this, if they, Opt-7, already know that the Rams will need a relay harness and capacitors and in my case resistors as well, why not just send them at one time. Instead, you have to check the forum and find out from everyone that you will need all the extras and now you need to email them, no phone to call, and wait for a reply. Explain the issue and then after a couple of days they will then send all the rest needed for your kit to work.
Once you have it all it does work but if there is an issue it will definitely take some time. This isn't from other people but from my own experience with multiple purchases. You can reference some of the threads where I have said the customer service is bad and it took a legal brief to get a response to an email.
Also, they too offer a canbus plug and play but when you read further it states it doesn't play well with Rams and will more than likely need a relay harness...

10000k? That probabaly has less output then the stock halogens, theres a reason jj doesnt sell more then 6000k, beyond that the output drops drastically the higher the kelvin you go
