Hey everyone. So I recently compounded my 95 12v ram 3500. Engine has a built p pump fass kit and 5speed manual. I'm running an s366/74 .80arAnd an s480 1.30 ar. I'm running 4inch straight pipe and 5x.013 (110hp) injectors.
Now what I'm wondering is why my egts are so high. I can hit 1500° in about three seconds even if I'm feeding it 60+ psi boost. I'm going to order a new egt to make sure it's not that but does anyone have any ideas? Is my 366 just too big? I could add a billet wheel to it. I tow with it mostly not gonna win any races with it that's for sure she's a slug, just surprised the egt climbs so fast. The piping kit was bought from crazy Carl's, turbos were bought from other sources.
Thanks for any insight.
Brandon.

Yeah went with a 62/65 t3 billet 5 blade turbo instead of the 66/74 it spools much faster and egt are way down now. Expensive fix but worth it.
