We can all meet in Galveston and meet with those folks, maybe at like the academy on the sea wall or something, that's always where I meet when I head down there

That's an idea, that or the walmart because the academy is actually in the opposite direction of the island where we'll be.

Anywhere is fine with me, don't change any plans just because I live the opposite way. I know we're planning on going further down the island, but if we're getting there around noon I figured we'd end up grabbing some lunch somewhere in town. I always love going to The Spot, best hamburgers around... plus the thought of looking out from the balcony there and seeing 20 Rams in a row parked along the sea wall would be pretty awesome.

Nothing is really set in stone yet except date and location.

As far as food goes, I was thinking it would be fun to all meet down at the beach, hang out for a while then caravan down the seawall to an early dinner....or we could do lunch.

We could all meet at some place for lunch and all caravan down to the beach together.....thoughts?

Is there a parking lot going to be big enough for us at a restaurant since the numbers keep growing? Good news is lunch time on a Saturday in November...probably won't see the huge crowds down there that time of year.

Really lunch is probably better, that way when everybody has had enough of the beach they can just head home.

I say we go to crystal beach, nice and open. Very big. And we can go to sting rays.

Crystal beach isn't in Galveston, just after the city bolivia.

It's before you get to the ferry. And we can stay in our rams.

Man I know nothing about Crystal Beach, and I'm really not comfortable having a bunch of people that I don't know that have never been to come out to a place that I myself have never been. I like San Louis Pass because I know the area well, there are lots of sand dunes to drive on, places to fish and that you can stay the night, and it all cost you nothing. 2wd and 4wds can have fun down at the Pass.

That's why I like the saying "it's better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it"

And to update my status, I haven't talked to my sister or my buddy yet down there but go ahead and add me to the list, I'm able to take the time off work to go to texas, lol.

I'll get you added to the list!

Sounds like a really good time! HA Just make sure we have a couple 4x4s in attendance so we can get everybody out xD I personally didn't need 4wd... Next time I buy a truck I'll have to tell the dealer "I need 4x4 you never know when a random meet is going to happen on the damn beach" LOLOL :p

hahaha

Cool man!

Yeah I agree with you on the 4x4...besides 4x4s always have a higher resale value so in most cases you'll get back most of your initial investment when you buy the truck. My salesman tried to talk me out of it, asking me if I really "needed" 4x4....and I told him I never know when the situation may arise, I have to have it. So he dropped it after that haha

I'm guessing around lunch time. Where exactly is still up in the air. We can meet at the beach (San Louis Pass), play for a while then grab some food and decide from there. Or we could meet at a restaurant for lunch then go to the beach and play. I'm game for either.

8 am just for you Esai:D

Alright guys I think I'm passing... lol that'd be crazy.

Noon would be cool, and I think it'd be good if we met at a place to grab food because... well... I've never been to any of the Galveston beaches, so I'd need help haha.
I could use my GPS to get to the restaurant, or where ever we meet, but not too sure about the beach lol.
