Hello all, I have a 2020 Bighorn "Built to Serve", grey edition. How rare is my truck? I hear only 2000 were made. I ask cause it might be time to upgrade to a 2500 for towing more and fullime towing as I retire soon. KBB doesn't really list my truck. So its hard to know where this truck sits nowadays. I have 60k miles and its super clean. Anyone trade in one lately?

You *may* get a very small premium over a Bighorn with the same options, as that's basically what they were.

It’s not as rare as you might think since the Built to Serve edition Ram 1500 was offered for 2020 through at least 2023 model years. Each model year they produced several different colors representing different branches of the military and first responders. There were something along the lines of 1000 of each color produced each model year, so there are likely at least 4000 of them out there in the same color as your truck. Search the web on “Ram Built to Serve” and you’ll find lots of information about this special edition.

As far as trade in or resale value goes I agree with Doc. I wouldn’t expect to see much over a comparably equipped “normal” Bighorn. Yeah it’s a special edition, but that doesn’t mean what it once did in the automotive world.

Definitely more rare than the standard Big Horn, but not really 'rare' enough to get more money for it. I really liked the 2024 BTS, with the limited edition blue color, and was thinking of getting one. When searching for it when they came out, it seemed like every dealer had at least 2 of them.
