how to fix headlight adjuster

Anyone have any idea on what I need to fix or replace, so I can adjust my drivers side headlight on my 2012 ram 1500. Right side adjusts fine. Took it to a shop now they want me to go to dealership and pay top $. As it stands my drivers headlight is aiming directly in front of truck and it suxs. Need it fixed asap. Any ideas anyone and hopefully I can get to try my new headlights out properly. Thanks

does the inner bowl move? I wonder if it popped off the adjuster?

I'm not sure if its in the bowl or not. I plan on taking it out the headlight again this weekend to make sure I haven't put it in wrong. Now with u suggesting to check the bowl I will do. I appreciate any input or ideas. If its not the bowl its gonna cost. Is the bowl directly under the adjuster screw?

Whenever u turn the screw either direction the headlight doesnt move up or down.

it sounds like it just popped off the adjuster, which is fun to fix.......hard to pull that bowl back on the ball when its popped off - but its doable. easier if you remove the adjuster, put some ky on the end and shove it in. giggity

the bowl is what the bulb is in, the big reflective thing there. the adjuster is at the top of the bowl.

Thanks again I am totally going to check that before I spend any major money. I have other plans for my money on my truck. Hope that's all it is.
