How close is that color match? How many spray cans did it take for the primer/paint? Was there a kit on the website you bought or did you individually package the items?

1 can of AP
2 cans of Sandible primer
4 cans of color matched paint
2 can of clear
1 small bottle of prep solvent
It wasn't a kit I just ordered what I thought I would need off their site. I would have increased the primer and color by 1 can each.
I just did my engine rad cover, and my wife's on the way home with my baby so I'll post picture in a little bit.

I haven't yet. I still need to complete 2 more of the flares. The clear only has a 24 hour pot life so I want to clear everything at 1 time.

This is the paint I used to paint all my plastics. The spray cans have nice nozzles and the colors match really well. $20 for a can of spray paint sounds expensive, but the results are well worth it.
They also sell their paint ready-to-spray in pints, quarts and gallons.

Great write up. I have done similar on other vehicles. I go to a automotive paint store and have them mix the paint and clear coat up for me and they put it spray cans for me. They will also tint clear coat paint with some black paint so I can tint my tail lights etc.

And for cheap people like me...Duplicolor Colormatch is a great alternative as well. The PW4 red matched perfectly, but I cant speak for other colors. I did my mirror covers and scoop and they look great. Also, Duplicolor makes a Crystal Clear Clearcoat that works very well, is wet sandable, and looks nice for years. Just another option.
