How to Rest Computer - after trying a performance chip

I made the mistake of installing a performance chip model:

Stage 2 Performance Chip Module OBD2 from www.performancechiptuning.com​

in my 2012 RAM 1500 Hemi. The chip did nothing for performance but every 5-20 minutes, my dash lights start flashing, windsheild wipers activate and chimes sound. I removed the chip but now all the adverse effects still keep happening (PS - I paid $150 and was refunded $130 so they got me).

I tried to disconnect the negative on the battery for 30 minutes but no change.

Can anyone advise how to correct this issue?
