Here's a great little guide on the harness install, just in case anyone ever needs it.

Here is how to hook up your wiring harness

Here is what get hooked up to what:

1. Connect to Left Ballast input

2. Connect to Right Ballast input

NOTE: 1 & 2 may be reversed depending on where your battery is and how long the
connector cable legs are.

3. Connect to the Positive + side of your battery.

4. Connect to the Negative - side of your battery.

Note: the negative power leg may also be connected to a solid chassis ground.

5. Connect to your car's stock headlight power cable.

Note: This connection can be to either the right or left headlight power connector.

The other headlight connector is no longer used and should be covered in electrical tape or other material to protect the connector ends from the environment.

How it works:

The Headlight power connector (5) powers the relay (6) which provides power
directly from the battery (3 & 4) through a fuse (7) to the HID ballasts (1 & 2).

Got it?

Aim your lights to somewhat look like this:

I don't know about on the 4th gens, but on a 3rd gen you need a resistor on the relay to make it function properly.

yeah, this shows the basics of what goes where - the 4th gens need a cap on the driver's side to work.

SWEET!

Day pics now please. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

edit........gotta add this in - going with the "right" HIDs make a world of difference. I know you can get hids for $30 on eBay. BUT, they suck. Thats all. :D

To be more specific, if you buy the right HID kit, you don't need a harness. There are specially made HID ballast just for the dodge ram. They are plug and play and require no resistors, capacitors, or harness's.

I am still a little leary about the amount of power they pull on start though.......

What is the name of that kit, or do you have a link for it?

HID ballasts create EMI, which can interfere with the TPS sensors, typically only at startup.
